"The 2021 PI*NOU is a lighter interpretation of Priorat, a blend of 51% Garnacha and 49% Cariñena. He doesn't use any chemicals in the vineyards but has no certification. This comes from three small plots in Poboleda. The grapes were destemmed but uncrushed and fermented in stainless steel vats with selected yeasts. A small part (10%) is a carbonic-maceration Garnacha from 2022 that was in barrel, but the rest was in stainless steel for 18 months. It has a bright ruby color and a nose of ripe berries and Mediterranean herbs. It's medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a dry finish. It comes in at 14.1% alcohol and with a 3.47 pH. 4,015 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2023." —Wine Advocate
